Student goals and capabilities

York University's Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Professionals (IEP) offers a unique opportunity for employers to collaborate on real-world projects while supporting learners' transition into the Canadian workplace. Participants in this program are motivated individuals who are looking to establish themselves in the Canadian workplace, and upskill their local credentials.

Our learners are from the Management stream. Each student brings over three years of international work experience in managerial or HR roles and is now gaining specialized training in Canadian workplace culture, communication, and business practices.

By collaborating with our learners, your organization will benefit from:

  • Expertise in leadership, operations, HR, project management, and organizational behavior.
  • Diverse global perspectives and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills honed through both international work and Canadian training.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Canadian regulations, equity practices, and management tools .
  • Ability to work independently or in teams.

These professionals are ready to support your business needs while gaining meaningful Canadian work experience.

  • Presentations or debriefs (live via Zoom or recorded video)
