Bring on students from the Toronto School of Management in the Digital Marketing program to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience.

The program focuses on marketing, advertising, promoting Google sites and managing campaigns on social networks and through the PPC marketing model. Using professional concepts from the marketing content world, using e-commerce tools, and digital research tools, advertising tools, and building the correct marketing strategy - students have the knowledge to become experts in the digital field.

Students are required to complete 240 hours of placement within 12 weeks.

These students are looking for both paid and unpaid internships with a preference for paid experiences. Please indicate in your project submission which you are able to offer.

Project Examples

Requirements

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.

Project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing digital advertising campaigns such as presentations, websites, social media, brochures, reports and newsletters
  • Making use of tools such as WordPress, HTML and CSS, Google Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Improving their writing and create content for promotional purposes
  • Conducting surveys to identify the interests and concerns of key stakeholders
  • Building, optimizing and analyzing PPC campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads
