Beginning this May, a Master’s-level student-consultant will work with your organization on researching and preparing a new opportunity, strategic initiative, issue or decision.

The student-consultant will utilize qualitative (interviews, focus groups or other ethnographic methods) and quantitative analysis and tools to research a business question. The organization will gain recommendations grounded on data for specific strategic options and considerations related to the business objectives.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Final project deliverables include:

· A 15-minute presentation + additional 10 minutes Q&A time summarizing the findings, recommendations, implementation plan (if relevant)

· A detailed report summarizing the framing of the work, the identified opportunities and challenges, the evidence and analysis the students found most relevant and their analysis of the evidence.

Project Examples

Requirements

The student-consultant will spend 100+ hours (each) over 12 weeks working on the project. Depending on the scope of the project, two separate students may be assigned to the same project based on the perceived scope/complexity, in coordination with you.

Example challenges include, but are not limited to:

· New market identification /or current market evaluation

· New market entry

· Analysis of current product offerings and opportunities

· Strategic plan for brand development

· Competitive landscape analysis and opportunity for differentiation
