Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Keuka College to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.


Learners in this program/experience are introduced to the process by which strategic business decisions are made and implemented. It also incorporates prior functional course material in an integrated manner as a foundation for successful business management. Formal studies, casework, and a comprehensive term project are used to reinforce learning.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


Some final project deliverables might include: 

  1. A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Project Examples

Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Integrating prior marketing, operations, accounting/finance, human resources, and other material as a foundation for successful business management.
  • Interpreting business events and phenomena affecting business across global markets; ethical decision-making via practical applications.
  • Evaluating cultural contexts in motivation via case study review and analysis, integration of human resources principles, including motivation.
  • Applying relevant information of business concepts and functions in an integrated manner, to make and defend business decisions.
  • Constructing and presenting effective oral and written forms of professional communication, appropriate for business settings.
  • Demonstrating the use of business concepts in order to defend a strategic business decision.



Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.

Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins to address learners’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.

Provide an opportunity for learners to present their work and receive feedback.

Provide relevant information and/or data as needed for the project.
