This unique program offers you an opportunity to provide real-world consulting services to a host business or organization. Theory and concepts learned in class will be applied to actual business issues and provide critical analyses that deliver sound strategies and recommendations.
- Expected outcomes and deliverables

Students are required to secure a faculty approved project in order to move forward with Capstone (XBIT 4500) course enrolment for the Spring Summer Semester. To have your project reviewed, please email fbitexl@ontariotechu.ca. A list of example projects by major can be found below. When selecting projects on the Level Up Marketplace, please ensure the Employer can meet the following commitments;
- Provide team feedback twice over the semester and complete a post course survey.
- Commit to a minimum of 5 interactions with the five student teams remotely, approximately 4–6 hours minimum over the duration of the project. These contacts are likely to be question/answer sessions or requests for additional information or clarification.
- Provide a dedicated contact to answer periodic emails or take phone calls as needed to address student questions in a timely manner. Students will be coached to make judicious use of your time.
