This experience focuses on equipping learners with the skills to create impactful public-facing messages that emphasize the importance of effective communication within families during challenging health transitions, such as post-partum depression, breast and/or prostate cancer, invisible disability, infertility, Alzheimer's disease, and end of life transition. Learners will apply their understanding of communication strategies to develop materials that can educate and support families in maintaining strong connections and resilience. By leveraging empirical research, learners will craft messages that highlight the effects of challenging health transitions on family dynamics and offer practical communication techniques to enhance well-being.
