Expected outcomes and deliverables

Each selected client organization will receive 2 sets of independent strategies from 2 project groups. This includes the following deliverable:

Phase 1 – Project Plan: Each student-consultant group will present a project plan, outlining the project objectives, scope and approach to arrive at the strategy.

Phase 2 – Insights: Student-consultants will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with your organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.

At mid-point (approx. Feb 28-Mar 12), students will share their insight findings with client organizations, at an agreed upon time, to validate and refine findings. Insight findings are an important component that shape the strategic plan.

Phase 3 - Strategy Presentation: Student-consultant groups will present an in-depth strategy, reflecting the professor's input, to your representative(s), during class, that outlines the following:

  • A statement of the problem and a recognition of its business importance.
  • An understanding of its key drivers based on research.
  • A clear action plan with timelines and resource implications.
