This was a cool experience! I was responsible for finding, writing, and submitting grants and there were always regular check-ins to see where I was at and what needed to be done. It was my first time in such a role so it felt a little bit daunting at first, but it was such a familial atmosphere and like I said lots of check-ins to help me get to where I needed to be. Definitely the type of workplace environment I would like to work in!
