Details

The Human Factor Community Organization is a not-for-profit which aims to elevate the status of humankind through programs, services, consulting community partners, and, where appropriate, advocacy in order to increase the health and well-being of the whole human and the communities where we live, play, and work.

The purpose of this project is to use the outlined by-laws that has already been created to further develop a completed set of by-laws for The Human Factor Communication Organization. The previous outline has been heavily commented and drafted to make this part of the project a success. The learner(s) are expected only to create a first draft of the by-laws which can be reviewed by a lawyer.

Deliverables

In order to complete this task, the learner(s) will need to:

  1. Develop the by-laws from the approved list of organizational by-laws
  2. Explore the bylaws of similar not-for-profit organizations
  3. Discover the organization's needs through discussions with the board members
  4. Make a first draft of the bylaws

Mentorship

The learner will have the opportunity to draw on the skills and leadership of the members of the board of directors.
