We are looking for students to help us do research in the area of experiential learning to help us inform a long-term initiative. The project aims to provide a research report on different areas of experiential learning outside of traditional academic settings such as immigration, transitional employment, learning new skills or cross-generational learning.

We believe this project will include:

  • Conducting an environmental scan in different areas of experiential learning to see what is being done outside of academic settings
  • A research report with the findings and recommendations
  • Conduct research with a diversity and equity lens including other cultures, Indigenous populations, women, racialized folks, gender-diverse and members of the 2SLGBTQQIA community

Mentorship

This position would directly report to the staff on the work integrated learning team, the project manager and the project assistant. The team will meet with students as required to move the project forward and will be available by email or an online meeting platform to support students with brainstorming, answering questions, or providing support where needed.
