Our current web platform is meant to educate our customers to allow them to make an informed decision when purchasing their next fence. We specialize in Vinyl fencing. We are looking to add an interactive function to the site to allow customers to generate a basic estimate so they have an idea of cost PRIOR to contacting us. We spend a great deal of time educating and preparing Estimates. To address this, we would like to add an estimate generating function to our existing website.

We would like students to focus on:

• Selecting the best technologies for creating this function.
• Creating a general application which can be easily used on computer or phone.
• Provides us with a way to track and filter those who generated their own estimate if possible, so we can see if they are being converted into real transactions. Some way to track ROI.

The final deliverables should take the form of a final report and presentation, followed by implementation of the App if agreed upon:

• The reasoning behind technologies chosen.
• Documentation around models and attributes used to model any data.
• A brief wireframe or mock-up of the resulting App.
• The product roadmap used to create the App, detailing all possible interactions with the App.
• Create, test and track the App.
• Release of ownership of the App.

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship throughout the project.

Shared Google Drive to upload required documentation and pictures once agreed upon.

Someone will be available to assist where needed.
