The main goal for the project is to develop a comprehensive platform for secure virtual hearings that addresses all the requirements of a legal hearing, including secure document management system, court reporting, and a secure video/audio conference system. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Conducting market research to assess the availability of platforms for secure virtual hearings.


- Gathering data on the most active platforms, including their advantages and disadvantages.


- Developing the best and most secure concept for an inclusive platform.


- Ideally, creating a pilot version of the platform or at least outlining the initial roadmap for its development.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of available data and effective methods for its collection.


- Familiarity with the concept of virtual hearings.


- Identification of the tools necessary to facilitate virtual hearings.


- Ability to devise efficient strategies for implementing these tools.


Final deliverables should consist of:


- A pilot version of the platform, addressing the identified problem.


- Detailed methodologies and approaches used.


- Outcomes and results of the project.


- Recommended next steps for further development.


- Source materials, such as code and workbooks, utilized in the project.

Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
