Details

Our company would like to secure architect support for our new state-of-the-arts equipping institute in the Alpharetta, GA area. It is a 120K square feet building with the majority with walk in usable space and design and half the building in need for architect layout producing a revenue model to support the building annual operating expenses. In advance of any office buildout. our company would like to concept build a dream equipping and learning institute to support our mission of becoming the equipping and coaching center for families in the world.

This will involve:

  • Conduct background research on our organization.
  • Identify what potential like-minded partners we should consider for space.
  • Creation of a detailed architecture model, highlighting key components of a state-of-the-art equipping and coaching institute for parenting.
  • Collaborate on a revenue model for the institute.
  • Design of two 26K square feet floors for potential lease space.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Familiarize themselves with our product and its requirements.
  • Familiarize themselves with applicable architectural patterns that would help complete the design layout for 46K square feet of space.
  • Design and report on a software architecture including patterns, key components, software, etc.
  • Present the final models to us with the context of all their choices they made, problems they encountered, and next steps they recommend.
  • Building a small proof of concept application which demonstrates the architecture.

Final deliverables should include:

  • A detailed report which captures our product requirements against a proposed system architecture and the tools used to fulfill it.
  • A presentation as stated above of the report.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Current product understanding
  • Industry standard open source software tools and architectural patterns
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter
