The main goal for the project is to create a community engagement plan for Nikisar Inc that involves the local community in the production of short stories for social justice. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Researching the local community and understanding their needs and interests.

- Developing a plan to involve community members as cast and crew in the production process.

- Creating a strategy for promoting the short stories within the community.

- Collaborating with the community to ensure their voices and stories are accurately represented in the productions.

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

- A comprehensive community engagement plan that outlines how Nikisar Inc will involve the local community in their productions.

- A detailed strategy for promoting the short stories within the community.

- Documentation of the research conducted on the local community and their needs and interests.

- Evidence of collaboration with community members in the production process.

Final deliverables:

- A final report outlining the community engagement plan and promotional strategy.

- A presentation explaining the research findings and the proposed plan.

Mentorship programs have become an increasingly popular resource as organizations

recognize the value of employee development.

Mentorship relationships happen naturally within any professional setting when someone with more experience (the mentor) offers valuable insights to someone with less experience (the mentee). But establishing formal mentorship programs adds the structure and consistency necessary for long-lasting and positive outcomes. In the process of supporting candidates in the completion of the project the mentor will guide them with 5 hours of their time and resources in their specific interests in order for them to successfully complete the project.
