- What is the main goal for this project?

A start-up tech client of ours wants to create a proper new hire onboarding process because they currently don't have one. They are an all virtual company, so this project involves first researching how to take a traditional in-person onboarding program and be virtual. We want to ensure that the new employees are blown away by our client's onboarding practices. We want our client's company to prepare their new employees for long-term success. MKS HR wants our client's onboarding process to integrate the new hires into our client's company culture, accelerate the learning curve, and increase retention.
Students should be prepared to:
- Research our existing onboarding practices to determine their effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.
- Research virtual onboarding practices of competitors.
- Research what onboarding components are most impactful for new employees.
- Develop a standardized onboarding plan that achieves our client's goals.

She started MKS HR Consulting and became the HR Department for Small Business.
