Based on the concepts and vision in mind of the CEO and founder of the company, the designer will have to define the concept and the problem, then design a solution and the product itself. The intern will have to work on few different products, all related to sport and/or safety.

Here is a list of tasks, responsibilities and activities the student will have to do during the internship :

· Set design requirements based on information from the CEO and Founder, as well as the designer’s research.

· Identify new product improvement opportunities and comparables.

· Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.

· Make sure that we are up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.

· Suggest improvements for products and processes if needed.

· Present product design ideas to the CEO and Founder.

· Add other relevant responsibilities here based on the student’s experience.

The student will be accompanied from the beginning to the end of the internship to ensure a full understanding of the needs and objectives of the project in order to optimize the internship hours so that it serves as a learning experience for the student. From a technological point of view, we would like to find a student who is already familiar with the design software he or she will need to create the various products. However, if the student needs a particular tool to facilitate or accelerate his work, we will make sure to get that tool whatever it is.
