We would like students to help us conduct research and better understand challenges restaurants are facing. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of the types of questions to be conducted and the summary report to be produced at the end of the project.

Students are to generate leads and find restaurants to conduct research. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Conduct customer discovery interviews
  • Record and transcribe each interview
  • Create interview summary
  • Analyze interviews and create segment comparison

Mentorship

I have experience mentoring and working with post-secondary students who have been placed under myself during their co-op terms in the past.

For this particular project, I will be working very closely with the student. I have a fairly flexible schedule. I will make myself available for supervision and mentorship up to four hours each week. If further assistance is required, I will definitely make time for the student.

We want to give customers the option to self-serve and enjoy the dine-in experience even if they're in a rush.
