Details

The central aim of this project is to revamp the company's website, infusing it with a contemporary appeal to captivate its intended audience. Students are anticipated to achieve the following outcomes: gaining an in-depth understanding of the company's user-centric problem-solving approach, crafting personas through extensive user research focused on the target audience, producing a low-fidelity prototype for the website's rebranding, advancing to a high-fidelity prototype based on the approved initial design, and ultimately, developing the website with a modern aesthetic, complemented by meticulously designed sitemaps.

Deliverables

To successfully achieve the project goal, students will engage in a strategic sequence of activities, drawing on a set of essential skills:

1. Create User Personas:

Leverage a strong foundation in user research to meticulously craft comprehensive user personas, ensuring a profound understanding of the target audience.

2. Craft Low-Fidelity Prototype:

Apply design skills to construct a preliminary low-fidelity prototype, serving as the foundational blueprint for the website's rebranding.

3. Design High-Fidelity Prototype:

Elevate the initial design by proficiently creating a high-fidelity prototype, integrating refined visual elements and user interactions based on the approved low-fidelity version.

4. Develop Site Maps:

Utilize strategic thinking to outline and develop sitemaps, enhancing website navigation and optimizing the overall user experience.

5. Formulate Design Guide:

Demonstrate expertise in synthesizing detailed design guides, encapsulating aesthetic, stylistic, and functional elements to ensure consistent branding and user experience across the website.

6. Front-End Development:

Execute front-end development with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React framework, translating design concepts into a vibrant, seamless, and visually appealing user interface for the modernized website.
