target market social marketing value propositions marketing autism spectrum disorders disabilitiesWe want students to help us build a marketing campaign to grow and engage our target market: Parents of Children with Disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy, Limb Differences, Autism, etc. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.
The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:
- How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company?
- What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?
- What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals?
- How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?
- Can you identify other target markets we are not yet reaching?
- What are some of the most common disabilities affecting grip that our products can help with?
Weekly educational meetings with focus on disability market and sensitivity training for engagement with an inclusive communities. Hands-on campaign development including social, email, web and partnership. Opportunity to learn how to write inclusive copy that is appropriate and engaging, as well as generate graphics in multi-media formats.
Research of various markets within and outside of disability markets word-wide. Distributor analysis on how to support them in their markets.
Analysis of EazyHold's existing followers and purchasers to build strategy for growth and expansion. Identifying influencers within the existing community and creating/expanding relationships with them.
Growing relationships with Occupational Therapists and Special Education Teachers who can recommend our products to those in need.

Mellin Works LLC DBA EazyHold is a Simi Valley, CA company that creates adaptive aids to allow those with physical challenges and disabilities such as stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's, limb loss, ALS, and arthritis, to eat, drink, write, work and play independently. The company is 100% female designed/owned/operated and dedicated to making inclusive products affordable and easily accessible. Three sisters and Co-Owners, Kerry, Merrily, and Wendy Mellin learned through their own necessity of the lack of simple grip aids to help people be active through physical adversity. Designing inclusive products to achieve independence in daily activities is the motivating force behind Mellin Works LLC. Now distributed globally, EazyHold is innovating a new category of silicone grip aids for the healthcare and caregiving industries. EazyHold is included in university studies and academic textbooks on Instructional Basic Assistive Technology Application and Procedure.
