Details

The MacEwan Storywalk project aims to create an engaging, interactive walking experience combining storytelling elements and engaging in enriching activities (e.g., visiting the library makerspace). Students will design interconnected narratives highlighting important parts of a StoryWalk that will be installed on the MacEwan University campus (between buildings 7,6 and 5). The project will enhance the storytelling experience, making it educational and engaging for participants.

Deliverables

Students will conduct literature reviews, develop accompanying activities for each story, script interactive narratives, and integrate social media elements. Additionally, students will collaborate on designing a user-friendly digital interface for StoryWalk, possibly incorporating audio-visual elements to enrich the experience.

Mentorship

We will provide mentorship in research, storytelling, social media management and engagement, and project management. Students will have access to necessary digital tools and workspace. Regular feedback sessions will be conducted to guide the student's progress. Additionally, we will facilitate networking opportunities with industry professionals for further learning and career development.
