G&C Enterprises has a resource platform that features online consultation, courses, templates, and member groups functions. We hope to update our existing website to be more user-friendly and attract more customers.

We would like to work with students to improve the current website to provide an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through Wix which is the platform that the current website is built on.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

Research and Define Goals:

  • Understand audience and set clear objectives for the website improvements.
  • Evaluate the existing website to identify strengths and weaknesses.

Navigation and Structure:

  • Simplify website navigation and create an intuitive menu structure.
  • Optimize page load speed and ensure responsiveness for all devices.
  • Create high-quality, relevant content that addresses user needs.

SEO and Marketing:

  • Optimize for search engines and ensure accessibility for all users.
  • Use clear, compelling CTAs to guide user actions.


Deliverables

Research and Define Goals:

  • Conduct audience research and create customer personas.
  • Define clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Website Audit:

  • Review the current website's design, content, and functionality.
  • Identify specific areas that need improvement, such as slow-loading pages or broken links.

Navigation and Structure:

  • Redesign the website's navigation menu for clarity and user-friendliness.
  • Create a sitemap or flowchart to plan the new structure.

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize images and multimedia for faster load times.
  • Ensure the website layout is responsive to different devices and screen sizes.

Content Quality:

  • Plan and create new, high-quality content.
  • Update or rewrite existing content to be more engaging and relevant.

SEO and Accessibility:

  • Conduct keyword research and optimize content accordingly.
  • Implement accessibility features such as alt text for images and keyboard navigation.

UX and Design:

  • Update the website's design with consistent fonts, colors, and typography.
  • Ensure that text and images are easy to read and aesthetically pleasing.

CTAs and Conversions:

  • Identify key conversion points and create or redesign CTAs.
  • Test and refine the wording and placement of CTAs.


Final deliverables should include

  • A website prototype.
  • A final report.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current products and website design
  • Our customer and industry insights
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
