We're looking for a student to help us with the creation of new graphic design assets.

This will include:

  • Coming up with colour themes and branding guides that aligns with and builds on our existing branding.
  • Creating graphic design assets for our marketing materials and websites, such as such as a banner ads, illustrations, infographic and more.
  • We welcome additional suggestions by our students on board this project

Deliverables

Tasks required to complete this project are (but not limited to):

  • Gathering and analyzing current graphic assets held by the organization
  • Recommending colour themes for new assets that are in line with the current assets
  • Creation of new graphic assets for use on various platforms at varying sizes (Anewdaei.com and various websites, Instagram, MetaVerse/Facebook, LinkedIn, Tik Tok)
  • Creation of jpg, pdf, png, ai assets required
  • Creation of gif assets is requested
Mentorship

We use Google to connect, yet can use another form of storage - ie. Box, Dropbox, etc.

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

We will have an onboarding Zoom meeting to meet each other, followed by our first project meeting.

There will be a weekly check-in, same day/time until the project is complete.

There are also online Milestones for the project as another workflow check-in to review assets to-date.

A New DAEI is an award-winning community hub catering to youth and adults who want experience in the Dance and Entertainment Industry (DAEI). We begin at age 2 working with individuals up to adulthood in classical, cultural and street forms of movement. Our director is Tré Armstrong, celebrity dancer turned choreographer, actor and producer and she has dedicated her life to mentoring youth positively through the arts. As a Canadian Black artist who has travelled the world for over 20 years working and teaching, many obstacles have been overcome and she is here to help others avoid costly mistakes to have a successful career in dance and the arts both in Canada and globally.

We have various programs available including:

Adaptive dance and movement therapy for individuals living with special needs and different abilities

Acting programs
