Our organization is passionate about promoting social causes. We ​​want to increase awareness about a particular topic.

We would like to collaborate with students to create an awareness video.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with the social cause, our mission and goals.
• Recording a presentation or screencast to raise awareness on the issue.
• Finding and applying suitable background music.
• Adding text, transitions, and overlays to the video.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Presenting the video and making edits based on feedback.
• Recommending ideas and editing tools for future awareness videos.
• Video should also serve as tool for our crowdfunding campaign
• Should focus on reaching our demographics which are students, youths and young adults of all communities but a more focus on the marginalized/BIPOC communities.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of the social cause, our mission and goals
• Development of an awareness video
• Free use of related music and digital assets

Bonus steps would include:

• Revising the video based on feedback
• Recommending ideas and tools for future videos

Final deliverables should include

• A finalized video.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our organization’s mission and goals
• Our awareness campaigns
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
• Weekly calls
• Accessible 24/7
• Details on our ZEP (Zuka Entrepreneurship Program)
