College Brew is a electronic newsletter and blogging site dedicated to improving the lives of college students globally. We wish to share our knowledge, expertise, and knowhow in navigating the tumultuous journey of entering adulthood.

The main goal for this project is to managing and growing our online community and existing subscriber and customer base, to better foster connections and increase our connections to users. More specifically, teams working in this project will be responsible for helping develop systems and participating in interactions and events with users that is appropriate for our target demographic (college students).

As students yourselves, this is a perfect avenue for you to showcase your knowledge in the niches that you are passionate about!

Deliverables

In this project, students will be responsible for managing and growing our online community by fostering a sense of belonging and connection among members. Students will be expected to engage in moderating conversations and ensuring that members are respectful and on-topic. Students are also encouraged to create events and create a sense of belonging within the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage our online community
  • Moderating online conversations and discussions to ensure that they are respectful and on-topic
  • Responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Encouraging engagement and participation within the community
  • Analyzing community metrics to track growth and engagement
  • Identifying and addressing issues or conflicts within the community
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the project manager and our founders. Our company will offer supervision, mentorship, and just be an all-around supportive figure in making sure that both the company’s goals as well as the student(s) goals are being met.

We offer lots of flexibility and agility in how we work - we don’t believe in making others conform to a certain work style. With a project like this, it is important that students believe in themselves and trust their own creative processes.
