We are looking for assistance in conducting a literature review characterizing different programs for youth literacy.

We believe this project will include:

  • Assist with finding ways to promote literacy in underserved communities within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Write an academic manuscript for publication.
  • Identify programs that youth can be a part of to improve their literacy skills.


Deliverables
  • Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a manuscript
  • Use Covidence (for study search) and Zotero (for reference management)
  • Meet weekly to complete study
  • Any previous experience with literature reviews is considered an asset*


Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. There will be a meeting weekly to discuss any questions and next steps.


Final deliverable: An outline of the research article including sources
