Details

Review RVH’s patient experience data, specifically looking at patient demographics (ethnic/cultural background), and the correlating scores. Identify areas of improvement based on the data and develop a quality improvement initiative to support the patient experience among this population.

Deliverables

The anticipated result of this project will be to determine areas of improvement based on the reviewed data and the development of a quality improvement initiative to improve patient experience in the target population. This will benefit the identified group of patients in the organization, as well as benefit students in their understanding of the principles/creation of a quality improvement initiative, as well as learning the importance of patient experience principles.

Students would be expected to work towards the above outcomes and deliverables, reviewing patient experience data and literature, as well as meeting with Patient Experience Consultants, Quality Improvement Consultants and Analysts at RVH to assist in mentorship/guiding the work. This can be done remotely.
