Identify areas of improvement based on the data and develop a quality improvement initiative to support the patient experience among this population.
The anticipated result of this project will be to determine areas of improvement based on the reviewed data and the development of a quality improvement initiative to improve patient experience in the target population. This will benefit the identified group of patients in the organization, as well as benefit students in their understanding of the principles/creation of a quality improvement initiative, as well as learning the importance of patient experience principles.
Students would be expected to work towards the above outcomes and deliverables, reviewing patient experience data and literature, as well as meeting with Patient Experience Consultants, Quality Improvement Consultants and Analysts at RVH to assist in mentorship/guiding the work. This can be done remotely.
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
