We want to explore new ways of interacting with customers through our website.

We would like to collaborate with students to create software that interacts with customers. The software will be incorporated onto our website.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with our company’s target market, brand guidelines, and products and services.
• Familiarizing themselves with front-end/back-end software/website development.
• Understanding how personalization of software for each client can create a more user-friendly experience.
• Collaborating with front-end/back-end team members.
• Deliberating on next steps in software development process.
• Attending weekly meetings via zoom.
• Providing student email to chat and collaborate via Microsoft Teams.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of our company’s target market, products and services
• Reasonable knowledge of front-end and/or back-end coding techniques, systems, etc.
• Understanding of how personalization can increase engagement of customers.

Final deliverables should include

• Deliverables are intangible - given that it is an exclusive program.
• Student can provide Riipen with a screen shot of a part of the project they have been involved in.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our target market, products and services
• Our current brand guidelines
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
