This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Conducting a comprehensive assessment of the current IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Identifying potential vulnerabilities and risks within the IT structure.
- Developing and implementing cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Providing recommendations for ongoing cybersecurity best practices and training for the clinic's staff.
- Creating a plan for incident response and disaster recovery in case of a cybersecurity breach.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- A detailed report outlining the findings of the IT infrastructure assessment and the identified vulnerabilities and risks.
- A cybersecurity implementation plan including specific measures and tools to be deployed.
- Recommendations for ongoing cybersecurity best practices and staff training.
- An incident response and disaster recovery plan in case of a cybersecurity breach.
- Training materials and documentation for the clinic's staff on cybersecurity best practices.
