The goal of this project is to support in researching and reaching out to community partners for the expansion the Loyan Foundation programs as well as create job descriptions for Loyan Foundation volunteer projects. Through this project, students will obtain project management experience through engaging community partners and experience working in HR spaces via in interviewing volunteers and creating volunteer posting.

Deliverables
  • Create job description for Loyan Foundation Co-op placement programs as well as coordinating interviews
  • Support in creating intake document for expansion of Loyan Foundation team
  • Book and engage in meeting with University stakeholders and community partners
  • Attend team meetings and supervisor team meetings
  • Schedule and interview Loyan Foundation volunteers and placement students.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the event coordinator who will be supervising them and supporting them through staff time and answer any questions they may have during our sub-team meetings. They will also have access to Asana to view and complete projects and Loyan Foundation google account to manage projects.
