The main goal of this project is to facilitate publishing marketing to further the reach of the company for several projects ranging from fiction to non-fiction books at various audience levels. Research is to be conducted on marketing resources for projects on publishers, distributors and funding bodies, as well as private and corporate funders and sponsors, along with potential grant and proposal writing.

• conduct online searches to find marketing resources and ideas for material in projects
• enter the information found on Excel spreadsheets for all aspects of this work, which includes names, specialty areas, URLs, submission requirements, contacts, etc.
• prepare a document or spreadsheet with targeted marketing research and strategies derived from the findings with recommendations
• Potential writing of applications for grants and proposals for sources of funding or for targeted markets specific to each project
• communicate with company with regards to avenues to pursue to make further contacts or proposal requirements
• knowledge of publishers, funders, distributors, educational outlets, and other platforms will assist with formulating strategies and targets
• prepare a written strategic plan for each book

·        be available for consultation and training as needed

·       provide feedback upon request as the student works throughout each step or on a daily basis as needed

·       provide access to data and film footage with detailed instructions

·       provide spreadsheets prepared for input and document templates, as well as instruction sheets
