Details

The problem: Global Sensor Systems (GSS) is going B2B with distributors who build commercial vehicles and sell truck parts and accessories. We will continue to sell directly to major cities like the City of Toronto (B2C), but want to focus our resources on creating a trusted distributor network. We are great at collecting leads, but don't know what to do with them!

The solution: We need a sales strategy to help our small team manage our leads collected from trade shows and market research.

  • Recommend sales scripts and Email templates
  • Develop an outbound sales strategy
  • Analyze our current process and recommend/implement what we need for customer retention
  • Define our customer journey
  • Advise metrics so we can monitor onboarding and product knowledge adoption
  • Social media strategies for sales support
  • Outbound strategies as we are about to launch a new product

Deliverables

Activities:

  • Use the data we have now to follow up with leads
  • Design a foundation for our team to use when the time is right (end of internship or end of coaching) (email teplates, sales scripts, etc)
  • Work directly with our Marketing team
  • Correspond with potential leads
  • Transfer our leads from our Excel sheet to our Shopify CRM
  • Reviewing current sales process
  • Developing outbound technique for our product launch or follow up from trade shows
  • Identify/map and optimizing client journey to improve distributor experiences
  • Developing important metrics to track during onboarding- who does the onboarding? We have a small team.
Mentorship

Staff time:
Director of Marketing (Caroline)- 4 days a week, 9-5 email, phone, zoom, text.

Access to tools: Not sure what tools one needs to complete the activities above, but whatever we have, the student can have access to!

Tech/ Data.: Any data we have on competitors, statistics, product details, market research, is available when requested
