Details

We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: educators and parents of children in grades 3-7. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company?
  • What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?
  • What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals?
  • How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?
  • How can we target teachers outside of our current program regions?

Mentorship

We can offer weekly meetings as progress checkpoints and one on one mentoring. Students will be supervised primarily by myself. I am happy to work with whatever communication and supervision strategies best fit the team.

The FoN program delivers experiential learning opportunities for young people to acquire creative, technical and critical skills in photography, enabling them to use this medium as a tool for exploring the natural world. FoN strives to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of children by providing them with meaningful experiences in the outdoors. Children are taught how to “see” the beauty of nature through the lens of a digital camera; and how to connect with nature while appreciating their own photographs of the natural world. A goal of the program is to foster in young people a genuine interest in, and appreciation for, nature as a key step toward long-term environmental stewardship.
