The student will build, with used materials wherever possible, a rotating sifter machine (known as a "trommel") using diy specifications found on Instructables and adjusted as needed for our specifications. This may involve framing with wood and/or metal, attaching an electric motor and gear box, and constructing the sifting cylinder. It can involve welding if desired, but alternatively can be fasten with bolts and screws.
Student will have full access to any supports needed.
