There were a lot of dating apps coming out but it seems like there is nothing new but yet more people complaining. Bumble came out with a new feature called Bantr - it only happens at 7 pm local time on Thursdays (you can check it out) and its for an hour. I find that both parties who participate in this have a desire to actually speak rather than take forever to reply.

This new app would be speed dating anytime you log in. You will have criteria you can check off and it will match if someone within these criteria is online. It would be a 5 min discussion. This app will also provide a feature around me, which will show people around you who are on this app. Maybe you passed by someone you like and you can message them. (name pending)
