Details

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

The project is a website that hosts a portal of educational tools. We need a team of students to design the portal in a way that makes it easy for the instructors and students to access the different tools. The work includes the ability to design web pages, create mock-ups and also create the content of the web pages. This content includes writing the features of each tool and providing explanations both in writing and by creating video tutorials. The project is composed of three phases.

Phase 1: The design of the web pages and creation of their content.

Phase 2: Creating the logo, developing the web pages and linking them to the portal.

Phase 3: Creating promotional material and a marketing campaign for the educational tools.

We will provide guidance to all students.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Designing logo and traditional promotional material. The promotional material is to be presented in pdf format as a final product.
  • Another student is to support the content of the promotional material.
  • A student or a team of students will work on developing videos explaining the educational tools features and tutorials.
  • Another team of students work on creating the web pages and linking them to the different web-based applications.
  • Students are to test that the web portal is functioning as intended.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. We will provide the essential material and knowledge that help you in your work.
