Our company values environmental sustainability and social responsibility. We believe that the world and everyone in it deserve to be healthy and thrive. We are looking to design a new concept health and wellness clinic, where the fundamental ethos evolves around this framework. We are looking for assistance in spearheading this in a health clinic setting, so that we can set the trend for future health clinic standards of care:

• Research how a health clinic can become more environmentally friendly, and more socially responsible with staff and patients
• Research new and more ecologically friendly packaging and ways to package our health food products in our health cafe, which can include new packaging including drink cups, take out boxes, etc.
• Creating protocols in the clinic that focus on lowering carbon footprint.
• Analyzing and complete a B Impact Assessment and advising where our company can do better to be able to pass and get certified as a B-Corp

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):

• Researched environmentally friendly, and socially responsible operations particular to a health clinic business
• Researched ecologically friendly packaging options with a weighted decision matrix to choose the best option for our packaging.
• Created business protocols for lowering carbon footprint.
• Completed B Impact Assessment for our company

Final deliverables should include

• A report including all research, findings, the decision matrix, and recommendations.
• Completed B Impact Assessment along with a report containing recommendations on how to improve our score

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions as needed pertaining to the operations of the business.
