We are planning to migrate some of our Wordpress websites from shared server to dedicated server. We want to take this opportunity to get rid of the code/schema left behind by plugins that are no longer being used. To achieve that we want to rebuild the site on the dedicated server and then move the data. One student team will be working on only one website at a time.

• Get familiar with the assigned website.
• Come up with a migration plan.
• Build the website on the new server.
• Migrate data. (includes users, posts, media, products, transactions etc.)
• Test the new website using automated testing suite. (We will provide students with configured automated testing suite which is used to run the original site.)

Students will connect directly with the employer for guidance throughout the project.
