Details

The main objective of this Social Media Project is to enhance the online presence and audience engagement of a business through strategic content creation, curation, and distribution across various social media platforms. Interns will be tasked with developing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's brand identity and marketing goals, creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and analyzing engagement metrics to refine strategies. By the end of the project, participants are expected to have significantly improved our social media presence and to present a document that charts this change.

Deliverables

To successfully achieve the project goal, interns will need to undertake several key activities: conducting an audit of the company's current social media presence and competitor analysis to identify improvement areas; creating a content calendar that aligns with company milestones, industry events, and audience interests; designing and publishing engaging content tailored to each social media platform, including text, images, and videos; engaging with followers through comments, messages, and community management; utilizing social media advertising to increase reach and engagement; and leveraging analytics tools to track performance metrics, adjust strategies, and report on ROI. These tasks will provide interns with a holistic view of social media management, from strategic planning to content creation and analytics.

Mentorship

Support and mentorship for interns will be provided through weekly video meetings for strategy discussions, progress reviews, and feedback from experienced marketing professionals. Interns will have access to all necessary social media tools and platforms, content creation software, and analytics services to execute their strategies effectively. Asynchronous collaboration and feedback on content and engagement strategies will also be available, offering interns continuous opportunities for learning and improvement. This supportive framework aims to foster a learning environment that encourages creativity, strategic thinking, and practical skills in social media management.
