There was a slight miscommunication at the start of the project, the MyEdMaster team was very accommodating and quick to respond, providing us with the materials needed to complete the project in this short time frame. I appreciate the chance to work with MyEdMaster and enjoyed the experience.

Although the objective was unclear at first due to miscommunication, his team adjusted quickly and provided us with a project that was more doable with our team's skill set and time frame.

John was great to work with and the students felt his passion for his product. As an administrator, he was easy to discuss with and very hands-off. Would work with him again and hopefully the project/details they provided were sufficient for him to implement into his business.

I had an excellent experience working with John. We had multiple meetings about his expectations and deliverables. John and his team were very prompt with their responses. I wish them the best during their upcoming product launch.

John is an easy guy to work with. He is flexible and open about what he expects the students to do. There are opportunities to continue to work with him in the coming semesters.

Great concept

Working with John was great, he had a very interesting project for us to do.

They have been helpful in answering student questions and I believe the project they are doing will go to benefit a large number of people across the US.

The project was important to do and was something great for me and my classmates to be apart of, to make understanding pre-calculus, a little easier to grasp.

Would have been a lot better if my teammates could ever respond. I think the main problem was that the project was sprung onto us and my teammates were very discouraged to do anything. The project leader was pretty active up until maybe midway through the project. Also, the fact that my teammates didn't do any of the surveys/assignments on Riipen really didn't help. I think that's another issue, having assignments to do on 2 separate websites and not seeing anything about Riipen on Canvas. I do not think that my teammates check their emails too often since every time that there was a meeting, I would tell them that I wouldn't be able to make it, when they didn't even know that there was one to begin with. Yes, they should have been checking their emails, however communication through Canvas announcements would be extremely more effective. On another note, the project itself wasn't too time consuming, easy, and simple. The main problems were definitely the timing, teammates, communication, and having too many websites to manage.

Working with the Riipen system was a unique experience, and while it had its challenges, it also provided valuable lessons in collaboration and problem-solving. One of the obstacles we faced was the dependency on full team participation to progress. With only one other team member consistently engaged, our timeline was delayed. I believe adjustments to allow more flexibility for individual contributions could help keep projects moving smoothly. Additionally, clearer guidance at the start of the project would have made the process more efficient. It took time to understand the system and align our efforts. However, once our team found its rhythm, we made significant progress and gained clarity on the project’s goals. Although we encountered challenges with accessing Riipen, we were ultimately able to adapt and achieve a strong understanding of the project. This experience taught me the importance of communication, perseverance, and adaptability, which are essential in collaborative projects. With minor improvements in system usability and onboarding, I believe Riipen can further enhance the experience for future participants.
