Strategic Prospecting Plan

Positions available: 3 To become a proactive sales team, we need assistance developing an outreach process for selling wells to interested landowners. We would like to equip our sales team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market. The project would include, but is not limited to: Identifying and documenting sales process. Creating a customizable outreach script. Creating the corresponding paperwork for each stage of the well sale including fillable forms. The final project deliverable a sales process, outreach script, and corresponding paperwork for each sales stage with fillable forms.

Our team is looking for someone who loves numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting software (i.e. Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite). We need help catching up our bank reconciliations.

Our team is looking for someone who loves numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting software (i.e. Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite). We need help catching finalizing a domestic gas billing process using Quickbooks Pro. This would involve importing statements and generating invoices.

We are interested in understanding the state of the oil and gas market and our organization’s level of risk. We would like to conduct a risk analysis to determine our level of security and our best course of action. We believe that the best way to accomplish this is to build a market and financial risk model for our organization and perform a sensitivity analysis using both private and public sources of data. We believe this project will include: Apply mathematical/statistical analysis and computing methods to analyze data. Estimate the volatility, correlation for returns, forward contracts, and industry-specific futures. Presenting findings on our market risk exposure.and provide recommendations. By using private (provided by your organization) and publicly available data on industry-specific derivatives, students will also perform a sensitivity analysis to identify the reliability of risk estimates.

We would like a new website for our organization. We aren’t sure which platform we would like for it to be built on, but we have an idea of what we would like it to do. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us.  Students should be prepared to: Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Create a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline.  Build a fully-functioning website. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.

Virtual Internship Opportunity: Computer Science

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (1 | 2 | 3) computer science students or teams. The primary focus for the student will be: Website Development - Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable for our website; creating a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline; building a fully-functioning website for our organization. We need a new and updated website for our company. Application Development - Selecting the best technologies for creating the application or feature (i.e. a real-time chat function); creating a fully-functioning application. This is our primary area of interest as we have field staff inspecting wells and we would like to automate the process. Software Architecture Development - Architecting the software of a new product; improving the architecture of an existing system; porting an architecture of one system into another . Software Evaluation (e.g. new CRM) - Conducting a needs analysis; researching available options; evaluating the options within the context of our organization's budget, immediate needs, and projected needs. Application Programming Interfaces - Redesigning an existing API to simplify it; changing API technologies; designing a new API; creating or updating public-facing documentation. Machine Learning Software Solution - Creating a recommendation engine; spotting trends in existing data; spotting anomalies in data sets. Real-Time Data Visualization - Creating a charting system with basic querying functionality; creating a dashboard to visualize key performance metrics of our organization or tool. Software Lifecycle Analysis - Improving our existing software development lifecycle methodologies; determining if we should use a waterfall approach or an agile approach; researching tools for continuous delivery or integration. Open Source Software Management - Researching potential open source tools for our organization’s use; contributing to open source projects through bug fixing or feature implementation. Database Analysis - Decreasing query execution time; Changing ORM code in hotspots to more efficient SQL.
