Planet Cents, Inc., (a DE PBC,) (a seed-stage startup,) will be the global B2B2C/B2C sustainable products and services marketplace, utilizing sustainable purchasing to reverse climate change while giving organizations a way to attract and retain customers, employees, investors, partners, and suppliers. Our sellers in our marketplace will include sustainable product and service providers, including existing sustainable marketplaces. Sellers may also license our SaaS to display environmental impact scores for their products on their own websites.
Organizational clients use the offerings in our marketplace as benefits, gifts, incentives, recognition, and rewards, as well as engagement, team-building, and training tools. They may offer these to customers, employees, partners, and/or suppliers, and each may share them similarly. This broad reach ensures the scalability of our model, which is attractive to investors. This rapid ability to scale allows us to cause a significant retreat from our global climate crisis.

Environmental Impact Metrics Research and Analysis
Planet Cents, Inc. is pioneering an innovative environmental impact SaaS that aggregates raw environmental metrics into comprehensive scores for company websites and marketplaces. The project aims to support the onboarding of new clients into the beta launch of this SaaS by conducting thorough research and analysis of environmental metrics such as carbon emissions, water usage, materials, and circularity. The project involves evaluating client products to ensure they meet Planet Cents' criteria for environmental impact. This will require learners to apply their research skills to gather accurate data and collaborate with the Tech Team to integrate findings into the SaaS platform. Weekly remote meetings will facilitate progress tracking and team coordination.
Human Resources Recruiting
The overall goal of this project to yield many quality candidates for our many internship roles. This includes researching sources of candidates, outreach to sources of candidates, managing relationships with source organizations, posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, writing candidate summaries and recommendations, and more.

Our research projects involve any of the following, dependent upon current staff at Planet Cents: Conducting comprehensive competitive market research to identify key competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, and market strategies. This analysis will help Planet Cents to refine its marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation. The goal is to equip Planet Cents with actionable intelligence that can be used to enhance its competitive edge. By focusing on competitors' product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics, the team will provide insights that can inform Planet Cents' strategic decisions. Conducting comprehensive partner research to identify the various partners, their needs and ours, and partnering potential. The goal is to equip Planet Cents with actionable intelligence that can be used to identify and gauge the viability of partnerships utilizing various criteria. Conducting comprehensive research to identify the various organizational buyers, their needs and ours, to discern our product/market fit, and direction potential. The goal is to equip Planet Cents with actionable intelligence that can be used to identify and gauge the best organizational targets consistent with our initial marketplace launch. Conducting comprehensive grant funding research based upon a specific set of criteria in order to gauge the most viable grant opportunities, and execute on those as needed. The goal of this is to generate a report of actionable opportunities for grant funding. All of our projects will require learners to apply their knowledge of market research methodologies, data analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to follow specific criteria. All projects will provide insights that can inform Planet Cents' strategic and tactical decisions.
