Outdoor Mural Design and Painting Project
The main goal for the project is to design and paint an outdoor mural for Westdale Nature School that reflects the company's unique blend of forest education, Montessori principles, and focus on nature, nutrition, and independence. The mural should incorporate elements of nature, imaginative play, and free play to create an engaging and visually appealing outdoor space for the students.
Westdale Nature School Website Design
The main goal for the project is to create a website that accurately represents the ethos of Westdale Nature School, incorporating nature-based themes, an inviting natural color palette, and the school's logo. The website content should also effectively represent the various programs offered at the school, blending the outdoors with other pedagogies that nurture the whole child, focusing on nature, nutrition, and independence.
Email Marketing Campaign
Our school is in the process of moving from an existing child care setting to a new business and we want to convey our unique hybrid nature/forest montessori school message to the hamilton area. We would like to work with students to design a new email marketing campaign for our school . This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our School's ethos, email marketing campaign goals and target market. Identifying types of emails and content that our company should send out such as welcome emails, newsletters, and re-engagement emails. Research factors affecting the effectiveness of email marketing, such as when emails are sent and making recommendations. Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Identifying ways to personalize emails for customers based on market segmentation.
Written Content Editing/ Revising current Policies
Our daycare program is a unique blend of outdoor and mixed pedagogies, interested in nurturing the whole child at their own pace. We have a strong focus on nature, nutrition and independence. We are building a new program and need to prepare the documents required by the CCLS according to the CCEYA standards. We want to collaborate with students to edit and review our written materials and write new policies as needed according to the standard templates or according to recommendations and in line with our program values. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Rewrite current policies to update them with current information. Correcting grammar mistakes. Verifying content for accuracy and consistency. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Suggesting additional information
Digital Marketing
We are a small, unique school in the midst of a name change and must create all new advertising and social media. We would like to collaborate with students to review and post content promoting our school, its mission and values. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our target market, effectively promoting our special school Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, brochures, etc. Deploying content according to our social media calendar to increase website traffic. Overseeing our channels and keeping them up-to-date. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending search engine optimization (SEO) strategies so our materials are easily accessible.
Logo Redesign
We are changing to a new company and would like to update and revamp our existing brand to better represent our values and school. We would like to work with students to develop a new logo that aligns with our school’s mission and story while providing an appealing design for users. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarize themselves with our company’s story, mission, and vision statements. Brainstorm logo ideas that suit our company and provide justification for each idea. Design and test the best unique, high-quality logos to garner input. Refine and improve logos based on feedback. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Developing a finalized logo for implementation and creating different versions that can be easily utilized.
