How this works

  • In early December 2023, the professor short lists applicable projects that will meet course learning goals.
  • In early January 2024, student teams select a project and partners are informed of a match.
  • Community partners commit to come to class (virtually only) to promote your project and meet students.
  • Teams and partners meet (virtually only) as needed to build and understanding of the issue, refine project goals, and create action plans.
  • Teams present final project to partners in mid- April.

Your Commitment

Projects are tied to a student’s overall course mark and must be completed within a 2-month period and must be managed around varying student schedules. We ask our partners to ensure timely transfer of information and firm commitment to scheduled meetings to support project success.
