W25 Consumer Behaviour
Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Red River College to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program/experience will: 1. Describe the key concepts and processes used in the study of consumer behavior to explain why consumers make purchases. 2. Identify key ethical and social responsibility issues associated with marketing that impacts consumer behaviour. 3. Determine the factors that influence the spread of a new idea. 4. Explain how diffusion of innovation manifests itself in different ways in various cultures. 5. Analyze current trends in consumer behaviour. 6. Apply current trends in consumer behaviour to the marketing of a product or service. 7. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and their attempts to influence consumer behaviour. 8. Construct profiles of target market segments to identify which consumer groups are most likely to purchase a product. 9. Formulate effective marketing strategies to influence consumer decision-making. 10. Create a project to assess the consumer decision-making process.

Marketing Strategy is the capstone course for Marketing majors who are soon to graduate with a Business Administration Diploma. In their final term, students aim to apply their foundations in marketing analysis and planning by working hands-on with real-life clients. They will develop a marketing plan for their clients to help them engage with their audiences and boost their businesses
Sales Pitch Project

This experience is designed for learners who are going through the Advanced Sales Communication course, equipping them with skills in persuasive sales presentations, effective meeting facilitation, and formal business proposal writing. Learners will apply their knowledge of negotiation strategies, cultural diversity competencies, and non-verbal communication to real-world projects. This experience aims to bridge classroom learning with practical applications, preparing learners to engage with industry professionals and contribute to sales and marketing initiatives.
ACE Project Space - Industry Project Winter 2025
The ACE Project Space is an interactive workspace where students, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and corporations collaborate to bring unique ideas to life. With the guidance of experienced staff and faculty, students of the Business Information Technology, Business Technology Management and Information Security programs work with industry clients to create prototypes, products and services that can be introduced to the market. ACE Project Space - Industry Project Demonstration of skills acquired in the student’s respective program of application development, data science, security, and IT Operations Project Dates Each employer will post 2 projects in the experience.
