Details

The goal of this project is to develop a new carbon credit revenue stream for Fyto, a company that specializes in wildfire protection products.

The project will involve conducting market research to identify potential opportunities for a carbon credit revenue stream for Fyto's wildfire protection products. This will include analyzing the current carbon market, identifying gaps in the market, and identifying potential customers and target markets. The team will focus on how the company's wildfire protection products can mitigate the carbon emissions and deforestation caused by wildfires, and how these emissions reduction can be monetized through carbon credits.

The team will also develop a financial model to calculate the potential return on investment (ROI) of the carbon credit product and identify any potential risks. Once the product is developed, the team will work to create a marketing and sales strategy to promote the product and generate revenue for Fyto.

Deliverables

Once a viable opportunity is identified, the team will work to design and develop the carbon credit product. This will include identifying the type of carbon credit (e.g. verified emission reductions (VERs), certified emission reductions (CERs), carbon offset, etc.) and the underlying project that will generate the carbon credits. The team will also work to ensure that the carbon credits meet all relevant standards and regulations, such as those set by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The final product will be a new carbon credit revenue stream for Fyto that meets the needs of the market and generates a positive ROI for the company. The project will provide valuable experience in developing new revenue streams, as well as understanding the carbon market and the potential of carbon credit as a financial product, specifically in the context of wildfire protection.

Mentorship

I am very hands-on and available all the time. We will have a weekly meeting, and I'm happy to have a meeting more often if needed. As someone who has worked at the forefront of technology and been in tech for 15 years, I know how to coach and mentor people of all experience levels.

We will also have a dedicated chat channel on Discord.

Fyto Autonomous Firefighting is a California-based wildfire protection company. Our mission is to end the destruction of private property caused by climate disasters with a specific focus on wildfires.
Fyto has an exclusive license to use a patented sprinkler system in North America. This sprinkler system will douse the home and the area around the home (the fuels) in water and a microbial-based wetting agent.
In addition to this, Fyto is has developed Fyto Cloud, an artificial intelligence-based system to determine when to enable the sprinkler systems around your home. By using a network of sensors, Fyto Cloud can monitor the environment and selectively enable the sprinklers around the home to reduce the risk of fire ignition.
Fyto is targeting homes in the WUI (Wildland Urban Interface) as a large swatch of these homes are unable to get adequate insurance.

We call our wildfire defense product ‘FireFyto’. You can see more at www.homewildfireprotection.com
