The goal of this project is to create an engaging and effective online silent auction to raise funds for the Camp WILD bursary. This bursary is dedicated to providing financial support for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Colour who face systemic barriers to participation. The project involves researching and selecting suitable auction software that meets the needs of the fundraiser, ensuring it is user-friendly and secure. Additionally, the team will collaborate with partners to secure valuable donations that will attract bidders and maximize fundraising potential. Finally, the team will set up the auction platform, ensuring it is ready for launch. This project allows learners to apply their skills in research, collaboration, and digital platform management, while contributing to a meaningful cause.

The deliverables for this project will happen in stages.

Phase 1: A chart listing out the possible auction software with features and suitability alongside a recommendation.

Phase 2: In collaboration we will secure donations from partners and create descriptions and estimated values

Phase 3: Fully set-up the online auction platform, ready for the fundraising event.

The project will culminate in a presentation/lesson on how to use the platform.
