Social Media Campaign for Camp WILD Classic
WILD Awakenings Inc. is seeking to develop a dynamic social media marketing campaign to promote its upcoming event, Camp WILD Classic, scheduled for September. The primary goal is to increase awareness and engagement by emphasizing themes of women's empowerment, nature, and play. The project involves crafting a comprehensive marketing strategy that spans from April through September, targeting potential attendees and supporters. Learners will apply their classroom knowledge of marketing principles and digital communication to create engaging content. The project will focus on designing social media posts and reels that effectively convey the camp's mission and values, fostering a sense of community and excitement around the event. By the end of the project, the team will have developed a cohesive strategy that aligns with WILD Awakenings Inc.'s brand and objectives.
Camp WILD Online Silent Auction Fundraiser
The goal of this project is to create an engaging and effective online silent auction to raise funds for the Camp WILD bursary. This bursary is dedicated to providing financial support for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Colour who face systemic barriers to participation. The project involves researching and selecting suitable auction software that meets the needs of the fundraiser, ensuring it is user-friendly and secure. Additionally, the team will collaborate with partners to secure valuable donations that will attract bidders and maximize fundraising potential. Finally, the team will set up the auction platform, ensuring it is ready for launch. This project allows learners to apply their skills in research, collaboration, and digital platform management, while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Bursary Fundraising Plan
WILD Awakenings runs a women's camp called Camp WILD and has a bursary program for women who identify as Black, Indigenous or Women of Colour and for whom the cost a barrier to participation. We are trying to find creative ways to raise money for this bursary, including monthly events. We would like to collaborate with students to develop a fundraising plan to meet our goals. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Conducting background research on fundraising strategies. Recommending suitable fundraising strategies and creating a timeline / calendar of these activities. A plan for implementing some of those ideas (for example, communicating with local vendors, pricing out an event, figuring out an online silent auction, etc.)
Email Welcome Journey
Camp WILD has a growing email audience and we want to create a welcome journey of 4-6 emails introducing them to Camp WILD. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on customer journey mapping, our products and customers. Defining the phases and touchpoints of the journey. Incorporating user actions, emotions, goals, and pain points in the customer journey map. Proposing solutions to minimize pain points while meeting business goals. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Developing multiple customer journey maps to account for different experiences and paths.
