We are a new startup, and would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Digital Content Creation and Research

We want students to help us create content aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The Komino movement's mission is to encourage the youth to invest themselves in social change via content on social media platforms like TikTok or Instagram. We currently have an account in french (we are based in Montreal) and we want to expand into the ''English side of Canada''. You'll be given how much time you should allocate to what type of content and coaching in our method to do content. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Final deliverables should include : - A document with all the created content ideas and plans

Literature Summary Research Assistant

Our research lab publishes dozens of papers every year to promote projects in our field of research. Among these papers are systematic reviews of relevant literature, which analyze the progression of research within our field. We would like to collaborate with students to support our literature review process by categorizing papers and summarizing important findings. This allows us to extract and process data more easily. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our research and the types of academic papers that we are interested in. Reading studies relevant to our area of research. Applying the categorization scheme to classify relevant studies. Summarizing important results from relevant studies. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Working with researchers to draft a publication based on the results.

Blogging for a Career Accelerator

Students at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to develop interview guides for individuals who we wish to profile on our blog. They will also have an opportunity to write highlighting recent research focused on gender and racial equity as well as state of women in the workplace. This engagement will give interns an opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a collaborative environment. The student will be exposed to a variety of skills and experiences to enhance their knowledge of digital marketing, communication, and content creation. We are a young startup and as a career accelerator for Indigenous, Black and racialized women and we care deeply about mentorship. We will help our students succeed as much as we want them to help us enhance our digital footprint. We are looking for students who have creative vision, tenacity, drive, and see possibilities in all things and who thrive at working independently and in a team setting. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, goals, target market, programs and services. Recommending topics for our blog posts. Set up interview guides for member profiles. Drafting blog posts relevant to our organization Revising blog posts based on feedback. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending ways to market our blogs. Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.
