Siraj Institute is celebrating its sixth anniversary and we are expanding! We seeking an articulate, persuasive intern to join our grant writing project. This position is responsible for researching and writing of proposals online. The person will report directly to the executive director. The primary focus for the student will revolve around the following: Researching grants: Student takes the time to determine which grants to apply for based on the demographic, scope, and qualifications of the application. Creating proposals: Student creatively explains a company's compelling causes and why they're important. The proposals should be accurate and informational but should stand out, motivate, and persuade the reader to award the grant to our institute. Communicating with clients and donors: prospective donors often have questions for the institute after the initial application. The student should answer any questions they have to continue advocating for the company.
