VCST Multicultural Outreach Intern (Remote)
Positions available: 3 (In teams or individually) We collaborate with immigrant settlement agencies, mental and physical health professionals, social service agencies, neighborhood houses and the broader community to ensure that the needs of survivors of torture are recognized and met at all levels. Artist Manager
Positions available: One student. All tasks are to be completed remotely. Helloart is looking for an Artist Manager to assist with finding on and onboarding artists to the helloart platform. The Artist Manager will work directly with artists, hosts and helloart staff to gain hands-on experience on-boarding, curating, planning on-line exhibitions. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ● Identify talented emerging artists in Canada and invite them to the helloart platform. ● Identify business locations in Toronto and Waterloo to exhibit work. ● Review the helloart software platform and provide feedback on UX and UI ● Approve / Disapprove work using the helloart platform. ● Assist with Social Media strategy. ● Create art related blogs. ● Maintains excellent, timely and professional communication with artists and hosts. ● Performs other administrative duties as requested by the helloart team. All tasks are to be completed remotely.

Interdisciplinary Authors - March 2024
This project will begin following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting.
